This happens to me every day. I am up early to greet the gentle daybreak. The breeze knows me and says hello as she ruffles my hair. I walk out on the grass topped heavy with dew, dip my feet in and smile as a pleasant wave runs through the body. And then, looking up at the hill behind me, smelling the wet forest leaves and a distant river, I wait for the sun to come up. And you won’t believe how it’s different every day and every season. The molten light run down the slope, the rays shoot up to make a halo behind the hills, the clouds suddenly come in focus like an animated movie and the birds start to sing.
