SRK’s Dubai realty project kicks off

Besides owning several properties in Dubai, Bollywood’s King Khan has also invested in a real estate project called Royal Estates. The ambitious project was formerly launched in 2008 but was put on hold due to global financial crisis. It was re-launched in August 2014 and latest news reports suggest that the construction for the housing project has finally begun on the site.

“Shah Rukh Khan-promoted Dh2.3-billion Royal Estates in Dubai is an affordable housing project for which the work has commenced with the contractor already on site,” reported Emirates 24/7. Texture Group has awarded the first construction contract to Armada Contracting for townhouses in this massive development coming up in Dubai Investment Park.

Armada Contracting plans to complete 350 townhouses by the third quarter of 2017 and over 2,500 apartments by the end of the year and the interiors are being designed by the superstar’s talented wife Gauri Khan, the report stated.
