Vadodara experiencing boom in real estate
The property carnival 2016 organized by CREDAI-Vadodara witnessed a record number of bookings this year. This was the third edition of property expo in Vadodara which saw huge sales of apartments and duplexes.
Vikram Gupta, President of CREDAI-Vadodara said that this is the first time that people have made on-the-spot bookings. “Earlier, we got only enquiries but this time the exhibition has documented nearly 160 bookings during the 3-day festival by home buyers who planned to stay in the apartment and not just for investment,” he added.
The property expo had 84 stalls out of which 70 were those of developers. A huge area of five lakh square feet was occupied to accommodate lakhs of visitors. Builders and developers offered various schemes and lucky draws to attract buyers.
This high number of bookings indicates that the real estate market in Vadodara is now reviving. “The the majority of bookings are for affordable flats of two bedroom-hall- kitchen and three bedroom-hall-kitchen priced between Rs 25 lakh and Rs 75 lakh in areas like Sama-Savli Road, Alkapuri, Waghoda Road, Bhayli and Sevasi,” gupta told reporters.
