He entered the bustling city of Mumbai in 1975 finding a shelter. Who could have imagined that this yesteryears’ bad man of Bollywood would own a sprawling abode on the serene Juhu beach 40 years later?

Five years after he came to Mumbai, Shakti Kapoor bought his first one-bedroom apartment in Juhu, for Rs. 70,000, After seven years, he bought a 3 bedroom flat, where he lives today, for Rs. 7 lakh. Shakti took a loan from Shyam Shroff, the owner of Shringar Films, for purchasing this house.

During his initial days, Kapoor’s good friend & actor Jeetendra advised him to invest in real estate in Mumbai. After marriage, he bought the adjoining flat, when his son was born, he bought another flat on the same floor. Today, he owns the entire floor!

The actor presently resides in his lavish home at Juhu beach with wife Shivangi, son Siddhanth and actress daughter Shraddha.
